Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited and a Miniratna company, has announced the recruitment of 1,765 apprentices for the year 2025. This initiative aims to provide training opportunities to ITI holders, graduates, and diploma holders across various disciplines. Interested candidates can apply online through the official NCL website between March 12 and March 18, 2025.

There is no application fee for any category. All candidates can apply online without any payment.

Educational Qualifications
- ITI Apprentices: Candidates must have completed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.
- Graduate Apprentices: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Diploma Apprentices: Candidates must have a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
Selection Process
The selection process is based on merit:
- Graduate and Diploma Apprentices: Merit will be determined based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma).
- ITI Apprentices: Merit will be calculated based on the average percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI.

- Visit the official NCL apprenticeship portal: NCL Apprentice Portal
- Click on the “Apply” button and accept the declaration.
- Fill in the required details and create a password following the specified guidelines.
- Note down the unique registration number generated after successful registration.
Application Form:
- Log in using the registration number and password.
- Fill in personal, educational, and technical qualification details.
- Upload scanned copies of recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and relevant documents as per the specified format and size.
- Review the entered details carefully before final submission.
- After submission, download and print the application form for future reference.
