Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Admit card for Combined Defense Services Examination (I), 2026 on its website  i.e. upsc.gov.in on 02 April 2026.Candidate should have passed / Appearing Bachelor Degree OR Diploma / Degree in Engineering from any recognized University or Institute. Those Candidates who are interested in UPSC CDS Recruitment 2026 and following all eligibility criteria can read the Notification and Apply Online from 10 December 2025 to 30 December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CDS 1 2026 Recruitment

Age Limit

• IMA & INA : 19-24 Years
• Air Force : 20-24 Years
• OTA : 19-25 Years 
• Age Relaxation Extra as per UPSC CDS 1 Exam rules.

Educational Qualification

(i) For Indian Military Academy :—  Must have Passed / Appearing Bachelor Degree in Any Stream at Any Recognized University.

(ii) For Indian Naval Academy :—  Must have Passed / Appearing Bachelor Degree in Engineering at Any Recognized University.

(iii) For Air Force Post :- Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Physics, Mathematics in 10+2 Level OR Bachelor Degree in Engineering

(iv) For Officers Training Academy (MEN / Women) :-  Must have Passed / Appearing Bachelor Degree in Any Stream at Any Recognized University.
