The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has officially announced the recruitment of 1124 Constable/Driver and Constable/Driver-cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Services) positions for the year 2025. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Essential: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Driving License: A valid driving license is required for:
- Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Transport Vehicle
- Light Motor Vehicle
- Motor Cycle with gear
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of driving experience in the relevant vehicle category is mandatory.
Age Limit (as on 04 March 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government norms.
Application Procedure
Application Fee
- General, EWS, OBC: ₹100/-
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
- Payment Mode: Online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or via SBI Challan.
Steps to Apply
- Registration: Visit the official CISF recruitment website and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process.
- Application Form: Log in using the registered credentials and fill out the application form with accurate details.
- Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of the required documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph with the date of the photograph printed on it (not older than three months).

Selection Process
The selection process comprises the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST):

- Chest: 80-85 cm (relaxable for certain categories)
- PET Parameters:
- 800 meters run in 3 minutes 15 seconds
- Long Jump: 11 feet (3 attempts)
- High Jump: 3 feet 6 inches (3 attempts)
- Documentation: Verification of original documents and certificates.
- Trade Test: Assessment of driving skills and knowledge related to vehicle maintenance.
- Written Examination: Objective type questions covering General Awareness, Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, and Basic Knowledge of English/Hindi.
- Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical check-up to ensure fitness for duty.
Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the following physical standards:
- Height:
- General, SC, and OBC: 167 cm
- ST: 160 cm
- Chest:
- General, SC, and OBC: 80-85 cm
- ST: 78-83 cm
Examination Pattern
- Mode: OMR/Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Questions: 100 objective-type questions
- Marks: 100 marks
- Languages: English and Hindi
