Application Fee

The fee structure is different based on category:

• General / EWS / OBC candidates – ₹1,000
• SC / ST candidates – ₹500
• Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates – ₹300

Payment can be made online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallet. There is no offline payment option.

Eligibility Criteria

For Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree from an NCTE-recognized college along with a recognized teacher training qualification — BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent programs will work. A minimum of 50% marks in graduation is generally required. Final-year students of eligible training courses can also apply.

For Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8)

Here, you need a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (in some reserved categories, 45% is acceptable as per applicable rules) from an NCTE-recognized institution. Additionally, a teaching qualification like B.Ed, BTC, or B.El.Ed is required. Candidates with specialized education degrees from RCI-recognized institutions are also eligible. Those with 50% in intermediate and enrolled in a 4-year integrated B.El.Ed program may also qualify.
